At Joanne Langione Dance Center, we believe that a child’s earliest experiences with movement set the foundation for a lifetime of creativity, confidence, and joy. For over 50 years, JLDC’s Early Childhood Dance Program has been celebrated as one of the area’s most engaging and developmentally grounded dance curriculums. One that invites children to explore, imagine, and express themselves through music and movement.
Now, we’re thrilled to introduce the newest additions to our award-winning lineup for dancers ages 1–3.5 years: PLAYlab and PLAYdates! Two playful, sensory-rich experiences designed to make your child’s first dance steps truly magical.
A Legacy of Learning Through Movement
JLDC’s Early Childhood Dance Program has always been about more than just dance. From our signature Playdance curriculum to our creative storytelling and music-based lessons, every class is carefully designed to nurture motor skills, cognitive development, coordination, and emotional expression.
Our youngest students learn to share space, take turns, follow rhythm, and explore their creativity all within a nurturing environment guided by teachers who specialize in early childhood education. Parents often tell us that their child’s first experiences at JLDC become some of their most treasured memories, a place where learning, laughter, and love for movement begin to blossom.
With PLAYlab and PLAYdates, we’re expanding that experience even further offering new ways for toddlers and preschoolers to discover, move, and connect through the power of play.
