Katey received her BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography from Elon University. She has trained extensively in contemporary, jazz, ballet, modern, pointe, and hip-hop, working with renowned faculty both in the U.S. and abroad, including during her studies at the Accademia Europea di Firenze. Katey is passionate about creating dynamic, inspiring movement and enjoys working with dancers of all levels to help them grow both artistically and technically.

Her choreography has been presented at the New England Inspirational Dance Festival, the Elon University Choreography Showcase, and regional studios and competitions. She currently teaches ballet, pointe, jazz, hip-hop, and contemporary at JLDC and has performed works by Lauren Kearns, Jiwon Ha, Courtney Liu, Michelle Gibson, and Jane Lanier, among others.
