Dance Me a Story Sunday, September 20th
ages 2 - 4 and 5 - 7 yrs.
This is a FREE ballet class based on traditional fairytales such as Snow White, Cinderella and Swan Lake for children ages 2-7 from 1:00-3:00. The storybook ballet class offered to the community as part of the JLDC Outreach Program, will begin with a story reading, ballet movement in costume and include a tracing of the ballet's main characters to be crayoned in by class members. The goal of Dance Me a Story is to allow young children to experience age-appropriate "story ballets" through music and movement. No prior dance training necessary. |
Fancy Nancy Tea Party Sunday, September 27th
ages 2 - 4 and 5 - 7 yrs.
This storybook ballet class taught by dance professionals will begin with a story reading, ballet movement in costume and include a tracing of the characters to be crayoned in by the class.The goal of the "Fancy Nancy Tea Party" is to allow young children to experience age appropriate movement and music through familiar characters. No dance experience necessary.

Dress Up and Dance Party Sunday, October 25th
ages 2 - 4 and 5 - 7 yrs.
Come join all of your friends at a Halloween dance party taught by dance professionals featuring music, movement, a costume parade, refreshments, funny/ spooky stories, and take-home treats!! The "Dress Up and Dance" party is a free community event to encourage a safe, happy, and healthy Halloween.

Hip Hop After Dark Friday, October 30th 7-8:00 PM ages: Tweens and Teens
This is a FREE EVENT for JLDC students and friends! Come learn the latest Hip Hop moves and dance the night away with DJ Mark Nolan.

KidZhop Jam! Sunday, November 8th
ages 2 - 4 and 5 - 7 yrs.
Kidzhop is a dance class for kids who need to be in perpetual motion, who love music and self-expression. This movement class is taught by dance professionals who have developed age-appropriate material that kids will enjoy.

Sugar Plum Party Sunday, December 20th
ages 2 - 4 and 5 - 7 yrs.
Come dressed in your finest fairy attire and meet the Sugarplum Fairy, Clara, the Mouse King, and the Nutcracker! Enjoy music, movement, and a story reading from the most beloved children's ballet classic, the Nutcracker Suite. The JLDC Princess Party class will include dance games, refreshments, and a take-home treat for every student. |
